After breast surgery (such as augmentation or reduction mammoplasties and mastopexy) the shape and color of the areola may be affected.
The scars around this area are also very obvious. In addition, in some types of mastectomies there is a total loss of the areola, leaving the area empty or with a very visible scar.
Under these circumstances, Micropigmentation is especially recommended, whose main function is to cover scars, equal the size of the areolas, give the lost colour and shape or, directly, recreate the non-existent areola.
This technique gives excellent results, hiding the scars and integrating them into the same color of the areola, after a pigment test and selecting the most suitable.
